I&#8217;m currently in my first week of changing my eating habits and beginning exercising to lose weight and get in shape. What is some advice or tips that can help me stay focused and dedicated? Does anyone have some tips or secrets to fight cravings? Advice on exercise? What can help me so that I can stay dedicated? Any and all advice is welcome!</p>

<p><i>Answer by Kate</i><br/>If you want to lose weight faster and get in shape, you&#8217;ll need to eat less and exercise more. Bottom<br />
line: 1,050 to 1,200 calories and one hour of exercise a day (but be sure not to dip<br />
below this calorie level for safety&#8217;s sake). On this type of plan, you can expect to<br />
lose 3-5 pounds the first week.</p>

I need more dietary techniques than exercise tips. I&#8217;m a fairly busy Junior in high school. I have no access to a gym, and I&#8217;m pretty lazy. I don&#8217;t get to eat right because I don&#8217;t have a license yet, I don&#8217;t know how to cook, and my parents work all the time and normally bring me fast food or take out.</p>

<p><i>Answer by Ryan O</i><br/>First cut out all soft drink and cordial. Drink water. There goes quite a few calories already&#8230;</p>
<p>Eat pasta. Its not hard to cook &#8211; put it in boiling water for 10 minutes. lol.</p>
<p>Pasta fills you up a lot for the amount of calories it has. You can buy ready made pasta sauces and add a tin of tuna for some flavour! Takes about 15 mins to make, and another 10 to bake. Too easy!</p>
